The sun rose on Kaiden
Michael Parker Stevens, September 29, 2011 at Nevada,
MO and the sun set for him February 20, 2012 at Children's Mercy Hospital, Kansas
City, MO.
Kaiden leaves behind his
parents, Randi Stevens and Kyle Whetzell; two sisters, Chloe Crockett and
Brooklyn Whetzell; his maternal grandparents, Randall & Jane Stevens of
Lamar;his paternal grandfather, Eric Whetzell of Mulberry, Kansas; his maternal
great grandmothers, Geraldine Burns and Martha Keys; his paternal great
grandparents, Tom and Yvonne Whetzell; aunts and uncles, Bryan & Terra Stevens,
Bradley Stevens, Christal and Shawn Eccher, Justin and Jasmine Stevens, Lori
Whetzell, Gary Whetzell, and Ashley Whetzell; and many other loving family
members.
Kaiden was preceded in death
by his great grandfathers, Damon Stevens and John Burns.
As an organ donor, Kaiden
was able to share his life with several other children; his heart continues to
beat.
A visitation followed by a
service will 2:00 pm Saturday, February 25, 2012 at Daniel Funeral Home.
