Joyce Braudaway always greeted me with a great smile, making me feel as though
she'd been waiting just to talk with me. She did this for all the 15 years I
was blessed to know her. Joyce shared her warmth and optimism with everyone she
met. She blessed everyone who came into contact with her, and as the next world
embraces her, the world here is much less without her. My love and prayers to
Dean, all the boys, and Trinity.

Joyce was the sweetest person I ever had the pleasure to know. Our professor in
college called us Joyce & Rejoice. She was rejoice. We'd fallen out of touch the
last few years because of health issues on both sides, but I never forgot what a
good friend she always was to me.Rest in peace my friend. My prayers for
strength and comfort go out to Dean and the rest of her family in this time of

Joyce and I were just a year apart in school, and although we lost touch because
I've lived away from Irwin since finishing high school, I will always treasure
the years she and I were like two peas in a pod. Whether it was all the times we
were in and out of each others' houses for 4-H meetings or we were sharing rides
to band practices, we always had fun. I will always cherish having had such a
lively, smart friend. I know that if my mom were alive, she would point out what
a good and capable worker Joyce was in all our 4-H projects. My brother Mike and
I reminisced about Joyce this evening, and I'm sure that I speak for all of your
old Bunton neighbors when I say all the Gigers will be in our prayers. I hope
you find comfort in many good memories.

I am so sorry to hear about Joyce. I am filled with many lovey memories of her
in high school. She was intelligent and quite capable in anything she set out to
accomplish. My thoughts are with you.
