The Friendship Support Group

 

Our funeral home is proud to sponsor The Friendship Support Group. The group is open to anyone grieving the loss of a loved one. Regardless of the time frame or the relationship, the journey of grief can be a long and difficult one. Let others walk part of the way with you. There is no charge for this service.

 

 

Some of the goals of the group are:

  • to provide a forum for the expression of feelings
  •  
  • to begin to network with others who were experiencing similar situations
  •  
  • to review some working tools for grieving such as journal keeping
  •  
  • to lend prospective to some of the strong feelings which frequently emerge (anger & guilt)
  •  
  • to make new friends

The Sruviving Spouses Support Group
 
 
This is a non denominational support group that meets the 3rd Thursday of every month at the First Baptist Chruch Fellowship Hall, The Meeting and games start at 12:30 p.m. Bring your sack lunch and join them. Everyone is welcome. There is no charge for this service.
