Anna was never still – always busy canning, taking care of the pigs, embroidery, and cooking up great meals for her family and the hay crew!  She was a volunteer at the Lamar Fair, helping with set up at the Memorial Hall.  She brought home many blue ribbons.  She volunteered at the Lamar Middle School, teaching students to quilt.  Their project was then auctioned as a fundraiser.  One student asked her if she would be their Grandma.  She was a wonderful neighbor and friend.
