All of his old Engineering and fishing buddies here are saddended to hear of Phil's passing. I am certain that the dynamic man we knew is sorely missed by the family he loved so dearly ... our thoughts and prayers are with you. If I may be so bold, I will ask your forgiveness in advance, for all the boring telephone and fishing stories you will one day hear again on the other shore. God bless you all. Joe

I'm rejoicing that Phil is now with Jesus. A good friend, via Little Rock connections, we had many laughs when couples gathered together. The friendhip from Wilmetta and Phil was long lasting, through moves, death of my husband, and especially to me, as we talked about God and how He leads in our life. Those who knew Phil, knew a man of God...with love.

You are all in our loving thoughts and prayers. May God comfort each one of you during this time, and offer you peace in place of the sadness.

I just returned home from one of the most blessed services for a loved one. Phil's son, Dennis, and grandson,Doug, said and did just what their Dad and grandfather would have wanted them to do with the "help" of the Holy Spirit. My prayers and thoughts will continue to be with my courageous, loving, and STRONG sister, Wilmetta, and her family as I know Phil will be terribly missed by them and I'm so sorry and yes, I know we'll see him again:-)
and I'm so sorry.

Dear Friends and Loved Ones,
Words cannot express how much your caring means to me, Dennis and Gale.
I don't know how ones can go on without friends---and the Lord to comfort them.
We cherish your prayers and concern for us and your love for Phil. We miss him so very much, but would not have him back after what we know he is experiencing now with the glad rejoicing and reunions he is having! So, as David said, "---I will go to him". Thank you again for your love and concern.
Yours in Christ,
Wilmetta Jeffries

Aunt Willmetta,

All of heaven is rejoicing over Uncle Phil's arrival! Just imagine Grandma and Grandpa Jeffries! But as with so many things, it is harder this side of heaven. We love you and will be praying for God to hold you especially close. "Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted"--Matt. 5:4
