Dear Charles, Julia, Jeanette,Clark and all the grandchildren,
I just heard about your loss and my heart truly aches for the entire family. I too enjoyed returning to Milford to visit and Jessie was one of the people that greeted me with a big hug and huge smile, wanting to know everything about my family. I have fond memories of Jessie.(going to youth group at your house) I know you will have sad days ahead missing her a lot, but eventually the good memories take over and you will smile when you think of her, you are very lucky to have had such a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
Sincerely,
Marci(Spence)Butler

I was at my daughter's in Joplin last week and read of Jessie's passing. She was a wonderful person. I have many happy memories of the Wood family from when I lived on the farm. I am so sorry for your loss.

I always enjoyed Jesse, she would come to our store to get some parts and I always made it a point to visit with her. She was a very exceptional person that always had an opinion and a good attitude. Our thoughts and prayers are with her families.

Sad to hear of the news but yet rejoicing for her that she is in the presence of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. You all were so good to her. She meant a lot to my dad, a good friend and a joyful person.

She will be missed. It's like losing one of my own family members and in many ways we were family. Going to church, social occasions and the such. I always looked forward to going home to Milford knowing I would see everyone. This just breaks my heart not to see her easy smile. I'm so sorry. You will be in my thoughts and prayers. May God give you comfort. Love, Susie
