Uncle Don will be missed. His smile was contagious. I can see him and Berta dancing in heaven. Oh the reunion he must of had with her, Uncle Dean, Uncle Bud, Aunt Wanda and Grandpa and Grandma. Heaven sure gained another great angel in their heavenly choir.

Terry,

Thoughts and prayers are with you. I so enjoyed being around your Dad and watching him and listening all through the years at the Old Time Fiddlers Contests and various music functions. He was a great man and will truly be missed. I will be unable to be at the service but wanted you to know that I was thinking of you.

We will be unable to attend Don's funeral, but our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Sending a poem we think is fitting for Don.

The Valley
He has crossed the Valley of the Shadow of Death
The wind will whisper it's sweet breath.
The birds will sing their sweetest song,
For they know his journey has been long.

His work on earth now is done.
His battles fought, some lost, some won.
Grieve not dear family, but rejoice today
For as the angels sing, you will hear Don's fiddle play
