     Jimmy W. Morrow, age 66, of Lamar, passed away Wednesday morning, November 12, 2014 at Barton County Memorial Hospital following a sudden illness.

     Jimmy was born January 17, 1948 at Greenfield, Missouri, to Charles and Maxine (Glenn) Morrow.  After graduating from Lamar High School in 1966, he began a 40 year career in the grocery business.  Over the years, Jim worked in various departments of Lamar Supermarket and SummerFresh, retiring in 2007.  He was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan and enjoyed NASCAR.

     Survivors include his wife of twenty years, Deana (Lewis) Morrow, of the home; and a brother, Don (Linda) Morrow of Coffeyville, Kansas.

     The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until noon Saturday, November 15th at Daniel Funeral Home.  Burial will be in Brasher Cemetery near Jerico Springs, Missouri.

     Memorial contributions are suggested to the charity of the donor’s choice.

I've known Jim since high school and he was always nice to me- always had a "Hi, Dave" and a smile ! He will surely be missed !!
