Linda Gail Milligan, age 68, of Lamar, died Monday, August 5, 2013 at Mercy-McCune Brooks Hospital in Carthage, MO.

Linda was born August 24, 1944 to Edward Bise and Juanita Bise Adams at Topeka, KS.  On January 19, 1970, she married Lawrence Ray Milligan. She had worked as a CNA and a Med Tech most recently at Bristol Manor Residential Care in Lamar and Barton County Memorial Hospital.  On November 14, 1999 she was baptized at Lamar First Christian Church.  She was a volunteer for Relay for Life, and volunteered in the office at the First Christian Church.  Linda loved to listen to Ninth Hour Gospel Quartet, followed car racing and football, but her number one interest was her grandchildren.

Linda  is survived by her husband Lawrence; three sons Karl Linn Lehman, Nevada, MO, Robert Dale Lehmann, Nevada, MO and Dustin DShane Milligan of Webb City, MO; one step daughter, Carrie Sue and Roy Myers, of Jerico Springs, MO; three brothers, Bobby and Debbie Adams, Nevada, MO, Barry & Joyce Bise, Butler, MO, and Randy & Lynn Bise, Blue Springs, MO; two sisters, Terri & Danny McDaniel of Kokomo, IN, and Wendy Neider, Rich Hill, MO; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her parents, a son Darrel Dean Lehmann; a brother, Dale Lee Adams; and a sister, Sandy Boyles.

Funeral service will be 10:00 Thursday, August 8, 2013 at Lamar First Christian Church with Mike Gage Officiating. Burial will follow at Olive Branch Cemetery.

Visitation will be 6:00 to 7:00 pm Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at Daniel Funeral Home.

When I think of Linda, I am reminded of Proverbs 31:28. "Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her." Praying for your family and extended family. And so thankful to have gotten a "Linda hug" on Sunday. She will be missed.
