Mrs Bateman was my 2nd Grade teacher the only year she taught at Jasper. She was a wonderful teacher. I adored her. Her mother also taught me piano. Sympathy to her loved ones.

Richard and Beverly so sorry to hear about your mother. She will be missed by lots of people. She was such a wonderful mother to you both as both had a Christian upbringing. I roomed with Beverly in Pittsburg Kansas and she talked about what a great mother and fine lady she was. God Bless you both knowing you both will have a Grand Reunion in heaven with all your family some day. Sherry (Kirk) Fanning

I have such great memories of Mrs. Bateman being my daughter, Janell's, grade school teacher. She was always such a lady and calmly did her job with so many students. Her Mother, Mrs. Newland, taught piano lessons to Janell. So, we feel an extra connection to the family. Our sympathy.

I am saddened by the passing of Ruth. I was married to her late baby brother Donald. Ruth was a lovely, smart, caring woman. She remembered to do the things that draws families together, supportive always.
She will be missed.
