This was a big blow to me. I spent many night's talking to Arlene after her mother went to bed on the computer.
She told me her number one dream was to go to Graceland.

Travis, I am so sorry to hear of your Mother's passing. I know how close she and my Mother were since they were 5 years old: best friends. Your Mother Arlene met so much to me, my friend. I remember those days when we were kids playing Monopoly in the living room while my Mother talked with your Mother and Father in the kitchen for hours. Those were the best of times, and I treasure those memories. I truly feel like you all are family. I am always here for you, Travis. And feel like you are my little brother. I love you all, and you know that Mother and I are with you there right now.

Arlene was my best friend since we were five years old.We met in kindergarten. Our dads worked at Medlin's garage together.Arlene and I had unconditional love for one another. We passed the level of sisterhood years ago and developed such a close relationship of friendship that is a privileged not afforded many in this lifetime. She has left a void in my heart that no one else well ever fill.
