I am just now learning of my friends passing. 33 years ago I was pregnant with my 3rd child. I was working at Lamar Sheltered Workshop with Kathy. We became very close. My child was due at the end of March. To make a long story short, she was born April 9th, 1978, Easter Sunday that year. Same day as Kathy's birthday. She carries Kathy's middle name Maurine. Kathy was in the delivery room with me. She was an amazing person, & she made a big impact in a lot of peoples lives. She will be missed. I have a lot of good memories.

I was so sorry to hear that Kathy had passed. She will always remain in my heart. Rehab will not be much fun without her & her stories, & our discussion of cats. She surely did love "Fluffy." God be with you all & she will be greatly missed.
